We've put together this website as a resource for the expatriot community of Krasnodar, Russia. It is intended to be an information resource for those foreigners who are living in, or just visiting Krasnodar and the surrounding region.

International investment Forum "Sochi 2008" - Sochi, Russia September 18-21, 2008

The City of Krasnodar is the Capital of Krasnodar Krai (Territory). This region, also known as "The Kuban," is the southernmost region of Russia. Approximately the size of the U.S. State of South Carolina, Krasnodar Krai is a diverse and wealthy region of Russia.

The entire warm-water coastline of Russia falls withing the area of Krasnodar Krai. Stretching from Port Kavkaz, just across from the Crimea, to Sochi down near the border with the Republic of Georgia. Krasnodar Krai also includes most of the Russian coast of the Azov Sea. This is where the Russian Government has set aside a "gambling zone" that will be called Azov City. This "Russian Las Vegas" will be open on July 1, 2009.

For those who are new to this region, we hope this website will be helpful. We'll be adding information to our directory as we can. For those who have been longtime residents of the city, any information that you can add will be most appreciated.

We have a Forum, where members can make ask questions, post job opportunities, and make general announcements.

This website is intended to be a resource for those living in Krasnodar, as well at those who are just visiting. We have a Forum, where members will be able to communicate with one another, post questions, announce the opening of a new store of restaurant, or an upcomming event that may be of interest to the expat community.

As this website grows, we'll be adding more and more topics. This would include information about public transportation, the local administration, and other topics of interest.

While the focus of the website is primarily the City of Krasnodar, we'll also try to add information about the region. This would include the Black Sea coast, including the city of Sochi. As Russia continues to develop the area around Sochi and Krasnaya Polyana in preparation for the 2014 Winter Olympics, we'll add information for those expats who will be coming to Russia to work on related projects.
